Guests of The the Grocery Girls will enjoy knitting classes; expert lectures; extensive interaction with our speakers; social events; dining with like minded fellow cruisers as well as guest speakers; and a wonderful sense of sharing and camaraderie. We will be exploring stunning Alaska, and attending 3 amazing knitting workshops while we’re at sea. Spend free time knitting and hanging out together, or just chilling out solo for some relaxing me time. Either way, Tracie and Jodi can’t wait to meet you!

Join us for this engaging, intermediate level workshop where you'll learn the ins and outs of creating a customized cardigan using a rectangular seamless construction. Whether you're an experienced knitter or new to sweater making, this class will empower you to bring your unique vision to life. (3 hour class.)

Strange Brew: Design your own colourwork yoke sweater with Tin Can Knits
Design your own colourwork yoke following Tin Can Knits’ versatile recipe. You’ll also learn about choosing a colour palette, yarn dominance in Fair Isle knitting, and how to knit Fair Isle patterns with two hands. The Strange Brew recipe includes instructions for working your sweater top down, or bottom up, as well as 3 yarn-weight options: sock, DK, and worsted/aran - so you can make your sweater in the yarn you love best. (3 hour class.)
