Discover the Croatian Origins of Zinfandel

The Grgich family roots run deep in the soil of Croatia. Founder and winemaking legend, Miljenko “Mike” Grgich was born there in a tiny village and grew up stomping grapes and making wine. In later years Mike started Grgic Vina winery in Trstenik, Croatia and produced the finest wines from native Dalmatian grapes. Fast forward to today, Napa Valley’s Grgich Hills Estate is run by Mike’s daughter, Violet – your host for this amazing wine cruise and journey though the family’s homeland.

Croatia is a melting pot of Venetian, Ottoman and Roman past and this cruise plans to see it all! Beginning and ending in the watery majesty of Venice, drink in centuries of history in Opatija, Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar. Sail on to Hvar’s glorious idyll of hidden coves, electric blue waters that are simply stunning. Trieste is Italy’s most under the radar treasure trove, and will take your breath away.
