Your voyage offers the unique opportunity to experience Asian cuisine through the lens of two culinary luminaries: Chef Paul Lau Ping Lui of Michelin-starred Tin Lung Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, and Chef Janice Wong, the brilliant chocolatier behind 2am:dessertbar in Singapore and at the W, Sydney. In collaboration with the onboard culinary team, Chef Lau and Chef Wong will express the authentic traditions and contemporary expressions of Asian cuisine with food and beverage pairings, specially curated menus and exclusive experiences ashore. During intimate, private dinners of no more than 16 guests, Chef Lau will personally prepare and present each exquisite course. Chef Wong will lead intimate workshops on traditional Chinese mooncakes and the journey of chocolate from bean to bar. The culinary immersion continues ashore with a market tour in Shanghai, where Chef Lau and a small group of guests will select seasonal ingredients to feature in a course curated for that evening’s menu at Azur on Luminara.
