About this Cruise
If you play Warhammer 40k, paint minis, or have been looking for a reason to finally start, Battle Barge is the cruise for you.
We're sailing September 26 through October 1, 2026 on Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas, departing from Cape Liberty, NJ.
The whole event is built around a living narrative campaign set on the planet Aequenor. Battles you play on the ship actually shape the story and carry forward into future Battle Barge sailings. Every game matters.
Bring a 1000 point army for 2v2 narrative games, or just pack a Kill Team if you want to travel light. There are also Wrath and Glory and Imperium Maledictum RPG sessions running alongside everything else so your choices carry over across every format.
Outside of games we have painting workshops with award winning painters, a wargame library, hobby lounges, cocktail parties, and all you can eat meals the whole trip.
You do not need to be a veteran player to join. New to the hobby or just getting back into it? This is a great place to jump in.
