About this Cruise
Paul Gauguin Cruises, the leader in exploring French Polynesia and the South Pacific, announced its 2025 Moana Explorer Program voyages for younger guests aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin on 11 dedicated summer and holiday sailings. Tailored to children ages six to 15, the complimentary program is offered in collaboration with Te mana o te moana, a South Pacific marine education and conservation foundation, and is designed to engage children with hands-on, interactive activities both on board and ashore showcasing the natural wonders and unique cultures of the region.
Depending on the itinerary, kids can explore underwater life, conduct water experiments, create natural jewelry, go on a treasure hunt, learn about Tahitian culture, discover island legends and geology and design a Polynesian tattoo.
The Moana Explorer Program is available on the following summer and holiday voyages in 2025:
7-Night Tahiti & the Society Islands: June 14, 2025; July 26, 2025; and Aug. 23, 2025.
7-Night More Society Islands & Tahiti: July 5, 2025; Aug. 2, 2025; Aug. 30, 2025.
10-Night More Society Islands & Tuamotus: June 4, 2025.
11-Night Cook Islands & Society Islands: Dec. 27, 2025
14-Night Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands: June 21, 2025; July 12, 2025; and Aug. 9, 2025
There is no fee for the program, which must be booked onboard, as it is included as part of Paul Gauguin Cruises’ all-inclusive cruise fares.
